Brian and Alicia Stout grow fruit and vegetables on 80 acres of a 600-acre commercial corn and soybean farm. While Alicia represents the sixth generation in a farming family, Brian left his factory job in Dowagiac just five years ago to work at something he says he finds far more fulfilling. The couple has three young sons, and Brian says he greatly enjoys raising healthy food and spending time with the boys as well. Their crops include apples, peaches, plums, yellow and zucchini squash, and 10 types of heirloom tomatoes
